All Maryland Residents 16+ Eligible for Vaccination

All Maryland residents 16+ are now eligible to get vaccinated at all vaccination locations. You may pre-register for an appointment with the State and the County, and you’ll be invited when there is a slot for you, or you can seek an appointment at a pharmacy.
Please use the following links to pre-register for state, county, or pharmacy/clinic vaccination appointments. 

VIRTUAL Road to Independence Fair

The Road to Independence Resource Fair has a new format this year. The Transition Work Group of Montgomery County, with The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, will host their annual fair in a virual format and offer workshops and panel discussions throughout the month of May.  The fair kicks off on Monday, May 3, at 4 pm, and each Wednesday there will be a focused workshop.
This opportunity to network and gather information about post-high school employment, housing, social, and recreational programs is FREE. Click here to learn more or register.

Health Insurance Enrollment Extended

The Maryland Health Connection has extended the emergency special enrollment period for uninsured Marylanders. You can enroll in a private health insurance plan now through Saturday, May 15, 2021. 
Click here to learn more, get an estimate, or apply for coverage. When enrolling, consumers should select “Coronavirus Emergency Special Enrollment Period.” Help is also available by calling 1.855.642.8572 weekdays from 8 am-6 pm. 

Free Shuttle Service to Germantown Mass Vaccination Site

MCDOT has launched a FREE, direct shuttle service to the Montgomery College Germantown Mass Vaccination site, for county residents 16 and older who have an appointment.
The shuttle service is marked “Vaccine Shuttle” and operates Monday through Friday every 30 minutes between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Bay H on the east side of the Shady Grove Metro.  Pick-ups and drop-offs at the Germantown Campus are in front of the Bioscience Education Center. Weekend travel between the two sites is available on the Ride On Route 55. Click here for more information.
