Access Final Round Videos
|
Our final round videos are one of our most popular tools! Students and coaches alike can pick up on new trends, examine stylistic choices and speech structure, or just learn more about events. The archive is available to all members and dates back decades.
The Resource Package.(on sale for $99 through the end of September) includes exclusive access to 2022 final rounds. This year, high school Public Forum and Lincoln-Douglas also feature the cases used in the final rounds so you can follow along or use them to flow in class.

Competition Rules Minutes and Agenda
|
The Competition Rules Board met July 19. Relevant changes include a removal of the single source rule in Poetry, a change to require only six schools and 10 entries to seat a Senate at the district tournament, and a continuation of the policy allowing districts to choose to hold their tournament online or in-person. Read the minutes for details! The Competition Rules Board will next meet on September 20 to discuss the future of the Last-Chance Qualifier, Online Supplemental Events, non-qualifier supplemental event participation, and the Middle School National Tournament. We invite you to review their agenda and send any comments or suggestions to board@speechanddebate.org.

The new online district’s competition will be online, and the district is open to any school that can demonstrate their school’s students are structurally unable to participate in competitions on Fridays and Saturdays. Schools that join this online district will be removed from their current district. We hope this new pathway will open competition opportunities to teams with barriers to access due to religious practices, geography, or other conflicts. To learn more, please email us.
