Orchid Extravaganza is Now Open
More orchids than ever before
Be wowed this winter by our largest and most diverse display of orchids ever during Orchid Extravaganza. Our talented horticulturists celebrate the beauty and variety of orchids with an artful display that includes a towering 12-foot-tall archway, our spectacular orchid curtain, and hundreds of vibrant Vanda orchids adorning our Silver Garden. Escape the cold and enter orchid paradise.
Valentine's Day Weekend
Join us February 13 & 14, 9 am–8 pm
Come to the Gardens this Valentine's Day weekend for a romantic evening with your loved one. Take advantage of our extended hours and experience our Orchid Extravaganza display into the evening. Explore the Outdoor Gardens, purchase tickets to experience one of our Insider Tours, and enjoy live music in our Conservatory from 4–7 pm.  Our Café will be open until 7 pm and 1906 has a few reservations still available for brunch and lunch. 
Family Fun at OrKID Days
February 15, 11 am–2 pm
Plan a fun-filled day in our Gardens with the whole family. Explore orchids firsthand at discovery stations, observe orchid illustrators in action, create an orchid illustration of your own to take home, and enjoy a family seek-and-find in our warm, 4-acre Conservatory. OrKID Day activities are free with Gardens admission. Our last OrKID Day is March 19 from 11 am–2 pm. 
Sybarite5: Tickets Still Available
February 20, 8 pm
This quintet of talented and diverse musicians takes the audience on an exciting ride that engages the senses and redefines the rules. The group of five friends playing the violin, cello, viola, and bass have changed the perception of chamber music performances across America. Members can purchase tickets for this performance at the discounted rate of $20. Take advantage of a prix fixe dining menu in 1906. Make reservations in advance for dining in 1906.
Member Appreciation Day
February 21, 9 am–5 pm
Join us for our February Member Appreciation Day. On this Sunday, Members can take advantage of a 20% discount in our GardenShop, Café, and 1906. Dining in 1906 is very popular on these days so be sure to make a reservation via OpenTable. The 20% discount can also be applied to items in our GardenShop online with the code WINTER2016
Discount does not apply to already discounted items. 
Longwood Lecture Series

February 23,
6:30–8 pm

Hear from the visionaries, experts, and artisans who are restoring and renovating our Main Fountain Garden. Our next Longwood Lecture Series, Sustainability and Stewardship, shares the story of stewardship through sustainable design and construction techniques. Members can attend this event for free, but need to make reservations in advance as space is limited. Additional talks will take place on May 17 and November 1. 
1906 Winter Hours

Join us for brunch or lunch

Enjoy local fresh fare and seasonal favorites while surrounded by the beauty of our Gardens. Through March 16, our fine dining restaurant, 1906, will be open on the weekends from 11:30 am–3:30 pm. Join us for brunch or lunch on a weekend this Winter season. The restaurant is closed during the weekdays through March 16. View our delicious menu and make reservations.
New! Lecture Just Announced

March 15, 6:30 pm


Join us for an evening lecture titled The How and Wow of Paradise and Plenty, with internationally known designer and author, Lady Mary Keen. From France to Corfu, from America to England, Keen’s mastery has touched grand gardens all over the world including several for Lord Rothschild in Buckinghamshire, England. The lecture is presented in partnership with The Garden Conservancy. There will be a dessert reception after the lecture. The lecture is free for Members and advanced registration is required. The Member guest fee is $29. Register here
