Resources from July’s Behavioral Health Training
During the webinar, “Fostering Independence Through Critical Thinking in Clinical Supervision,” attendees learned about critical thinking and its role in reflective practice in clinical supervision, as well as how to identify ways in which critical thinking can promote best patient outcomes and foster lifelong professional development. Attendees also learned how to identify specific critical thinking strategies to ensure they are delivering optimal care.

Save The Date: Upcoming Primary Care Education Series
Sign up today for the upcoming Primary Care Education Series titled, “Pain in Children: A Primary Care Approach for Evaluation and Management,” on Thursday, October 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. This educational format is focused on scenario-based cases related to pain in children. Attendees will have an opportunity to submit questions in advance that will be answered and discussed by the expert panel during the event.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Prevention Toolkit Now Available
As the RSV season approaches, the Partners For Kids’ RSV Prevention Toolkit can help prepare your practice for nirsevimab administration. The toolkit includes information on supply, purchasing, administration billing codes and patient education materials.
The start date for administration of nirsevimab at Dayton Children’s Hospital is October 1, in preparation for the RSV season, which typically lasts through March in Ohio.
Beyfortus (nirsevimab) is available to order for Vaccines for Children (VFC) programs through the ImpactSIIS Vaccine Ordering Management System (VOMS). For the 2025-2026 RSV Season, there are potential changes regarding billing. Additional information regarding these changes can be found in the toolkit.
