2024 NYC Carnegie Hall Concert Trip
Members of the AC Choir are traveling to New York City in June of 2024. They will join with invited choirs from around the country to form the festival chorus for Duruflé’s Requiem under the baton of GRAMMY winning conductor, Dr. Jerry Blackstone. The festival chorus will perform with the New York City Chamber Orchestra and professional soloists as part of Manhattan Concert Production’s Masterwork series.
Steinway Piano Campaign
Adrian College has identified the need for a new 7-foot Steinway grand piano to enhance music on campus. Steinway pianos have an unmatched reputation, but are often out of reach financially for all but the largest institutions and music programs. Hearing of this need, Charlie and Marianne Steffens, longtime patrons of the arts, have personally provided a generous matching gift of $60,000 to persuade others to help bring this beautiful new instrument to our campus.
