EVLC Tours Tallahassee Amazon Fulfillment Center

OEV's Economic Vitality Leadership Council (EVLC) recently had the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art Amazon Fulfillment Center (TLH2). During the visit, members learned how Amazon’s cutting-edge robotics, logistics, and workforce come together to power global e-commerce from right here in Tallahassee-Leon County. The tour highlighted the scale of operations—from automated systems that streamline sorting and packaging to the thousands of associates who keep the process running smoothly every day.

In addition to exploring the facility, EVLC members engaged in conversations with Amazon leadership about workforce development, community investment, and the company’s role in strengthening the local economy.
Sam Blatt, Senior Economic Development Manager at Amazon said, "...We sincerely enjoyed hosting you and providing a behind-the-scenes look at one of the community's largest private sector employers.
