Detroit Home Magazine Design Award Recognizes
Our LEED-Certified Sustainable Renovation
A panel of famous design professionals from around the country selected Matick Chevy as a winner in the annual Detroit Home Magazine Design Awards.
We were honored in the Sustainable Design – Commercial Design category for the massive renovation of our dealership, which transformed the entire look and feel of our operations.
Our architect, Shane Burley of StudioDetroit, was the mastermind behind all of the significant changes and improvements we made during our $9-million LEED Silver-Certified facelift.
"When combined with Matick's GM Green Dealer Award and recognition as one of Michigan's Best And Brightest Sustainable Companies, you can see how important this Detroit Home Design Award is to Matick's overall approach to sustainability and preserving the environment," Shane says. "Sustainability truly is a part of Matick's DNA."
We also were the winner of a Detroit Home Design Award last year, earning accolades for our Motown-themed customer lounge.
