Lending a Lightning Hand
The NP culture committee has been working on this year. We want to build a culture around service and giving in the NP community. Our goal is for each grade level to work on one way that they can "Lend a Lightning Hand" to our NP community (which can expand to our museum partners)!
Our ultimate goal is to make NP feel like a community and to encourage our students to give back to that community. Let us know how we can help you achieve that goal both this school year and next school year!
There will also be a poster in the cafe (posted on the inside middle door) where students can write down good deeds as they are completed. This is not a competition but rather a place where we can highlight the good! These acts can be ones featured on the flyer or deeds your class came up with. Feel free to allow kids to record the deeds on the chart—kid handwriting is 2 cute.
Here's a very short video demonstrating the process so kiddos have a visual!
