Share Your Voice on the Importance of the Arts in our State Economy - Take the State's Business Survey
Are you an arts business owner or nonprofit leader? The State of Nebraska, the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the University of Nebraska and other partners are conducting a survey to understand the impact coronavirus has had on revenue and workforce in order to find the best ways to support the business and nonprofit community during this crisis.

At the time of this article writing, the "Arts, Entertainment and Recreation" Industry represents 4.18% of the 2,800 respondents to the survey. Please help share the impact of coronavirus on the arts by completing the survey; it will have an important impact on including the arts and culture in future policy decisions.

CARES Act grants from the Nebraska Arts Council 
This Nebraska Arts Council (NAC) was recently notified of their allocation of National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) funds from the CARES Act. NAC is in the process of setting up systems for allocating CARES Act funds to arts organizations of all sizes throughout Nebraska. They intend to grant out 100% of the funds received from the NEA to help general operating support. The grantmaking and application process should be in place by the end of April, with grants awarded within weeks after that. When finalized, information about the CARES Act grants will be posted to the NAC website: artscouncil.nebraska.gov/grants.
Humanities Nebraska has also been notified of their CARES Act allocation from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Their application and grantmaking process will be posted to their website: humanitiesnebraska.org/grants.
