We are thrilled to announce that our nonprofit founder and visionary, Dr. Jean Edwards, has been honored with the prestigious 2023 Women in Leadership & Management Award (WILMA) at a 2024 luncheon, for her exceptional contributions and unwavering support of individuals with developmental disabilities! 👏🏼💫

Dr. Edwards, who has also served as a respected professor at PSU, has dedicated her life to advocating for equal opportunities and championing the rights of those who often go unheard. Through her boundless passion, empathy, faith, and expertise, she has truly made a profound impact on the lives of countless individuals and their families.

But that's not all! Dr. Edwards is also the brilliant mind behind the establishment of Edwards Center, a groundbreaking organization that has become a beacon of hope and empowerment for those with developmental disabilities. Her tireless efforts in creating a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential have not gone unnoticed.

During the award ceremony, it was a privilege to witness Dr. Edwards being honored alongside several other remarkable women, including Wilda Parks, whose heartfelt story touched everyone's souls. The event truly showcased the incredible power and resilience of women leaders in our community.
