After the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted Sustainability Services' ability to collect recycling on campus, Kaylynn O'Curran ’23 set her sights on getting her fellow Loggers engaged in the fight against climate change. She led a student day of action on Earth Day 2022 with events ranging from an informational session about local, climate-focused nonprofits to a service project where volunteers replaced invasive plants with native species. This year, she's helping to organize more Earth Month activities, including a climate action open forum, Earth Month trivia, a guest speaker, and a habitat restoration event.
