» Swift's Kicks: We all know Taylor Swift has a massive fan base — and here are just a couple of reasons why. Swift stopped by Boston Children's Hospital Aug. 3 to sing for some patients, including six-year-old Jordan Nickerson. Nickerson's public Facebook page shared this video of the two jamming on "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Swift also happened upon another music-loving patient and sang along while he played Adele's "Someone Like You" on the piano (video here).

But her good deeds don't end there. Swift was recently walking through NYC's Central Park and when fans in a rowboat saw her, she helped them out of the boat and took a photo with them. One of the girls, Alex Garcia, tweeted this pic and also revealed that when she and her friends told Swift they were going to a restaurant to celebrate a pal's birthday, Swift gave them $90 to cover the check.

» Ticket Master: Garth Brooks' 10-show Chicago tour stop has broken his own record for ticket sales in a single city, according to his publicist. The previous record was 162,822 tickets for dates played at the Target Center in Minneapolis in October 1998. Tickets for Chicago have surpassed that number and continue to sell here. Tickets for Brooks' Atlanta stop go on sale tomorrow (8/8) at 10am ET for $71.50 with a limit of six per person here.

» No Trivial Matter: If you watched CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock Tuesday night (8/5) you caught the news that Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the 48th Annual CMA Awards for the seventh year in a row. The show airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Nov. 5 at 8pm ET on ABC-TV. The pair made the announcement during a special "game show" segment during which Little Big Town asked them CMA Awards-related trivia. Who won? Note to Brad: you might want to study up before the big night! Watch them compete here.

» Peachy Keen: Congratulations to Lady Antebellum and comedian Jeff Foxworthy, who will be inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Oct. 11 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Lady A earned the Performer Award and Foxworthy earned the Spoken Word Award. Other 2014 Inductees include Danny Beard, Francine Reed, Ed Roland and Wet Willie.

"We've never been a part of something like this before," said Lady A's Dave Haywood, who, along with bandmate Charles Kelley, is a Georgia native. "It's pretty special hearing the words 'Lady Antebellum' and 'hall of fame' in the same sentence. We really feel honored to be included."

» Pardi Crowd: When your last name's "Pardi," expectations are high. But we have no doubt Jon Pardi will bring his A-game when he launches the 20-city Up All Night Tour Oct. 10 in Lincoln, NE. The California native shared the good news last week to a packed house at Sacramento's Ace of Spades. "I grew up around here playing gigs," he said onstage. "Then I got to do my album release party with you guys and now, I'm so excited to tell y'all about my first headlining tour!" Pardi's bringing his buddy Joey Hyde along as opening act. See the complete list of dates here.
