SCRAPPY'S SIGHTS
Last week, we asked if you knew which building this bird bath fountain sits in front of. The correct answer is the Goolsby Chapel! The chapel was a gift from the late Tony Goolsby, an alum and Texas State Representative, and his wife, Toppy.
The nondenominational and nonsectarian sanctuary offers a quiet place for reflection and meditation with stained-glass windows, a skylight and soft lighting, creating an inviting, peaceful atmosphere. Scroll through the Goolsby Chapel gallery to see visuals of the building, its beautiful grounds and surrounding courtyard area.
