March 13, 2020
Dear Colleagues,
As a reminder, effective this coming Monday, March 16, the campus is moving to full operations with most employees working remotely on a temporary basis. Those employees who have been designated by their dean or vice chancellor as required on-site/essential, and who must report to campus on Monday as usual, will be informed by their supervisors. All other employees should plan on working remotely on Monday. If by the nature of the work you perform you do not believe you are able to work remotely, please be in touch with your manager immediately. We currently expect this operational model to remain in effect through April 3.
We understand that this situation is evolving very rapidly. On behalf of all the vice chancellors and deans who are leading the development of our operational plans, we appreciate your dedication and flexibility as we implement this new protocol. To prevent any confusion and to ensure smooth operations during these exigent circumstances, it is imperative that each of us follows the directives we receive from our managers as to how to proceed with this model.
If you have any questions, please consult the faculty and staff FAQ. Thank you again for your dedication and assistance during this difficult time.
Cordially,
| |
Interim Chancellor
Katherine Newman
