Sept. 2023
Alumni and Friends,
Welcome to the latest issue of E-Viewpoints, the newsletter for the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech University. Our students, alumni, faculty, and staff are continuing to dedicate their lives to improving and enhancing the human condition through exploring new areas of research, engaging with our communities, and providing educational and leadership opportunities for our students.

This issue comes to you amid a busy Fall 2023 semester as our students continue to fill our college with exciting energy. Many of our faculty members are embarking on research across a wide variety of fields, all of which will help us to better understand how to achieve human health and wellness. When I have the opportunity to connect with you, I am overwhelmed by your stories of resiliency and the impact you are making. I’m also proud that our college has been part of building that future. As always, we are delighted to share these stories of our alumni making a profound impact on a local, state, and national level.
We have received some wonderful stories during these past few months from our alumni and friends, and I encourage you to keep sharing your latest news and updates. We look forward to hearing about your recent accomplishments and milestones.

Tim Dodd, Ph.D.
Dean, College of Human Sciences
