Giving Tuesday exceeds goal again; IUP Council of Trustees to meet; and more

Winter Commencement to Celebrate Graduates
IUP will celebrate 551 new graduates with December commencement ceremonies on Saturday. The university will honor those receiving graduate degrees at 9:30 a.m. and those receiving bachelor’s and associate degrees at 1:00 p.m. The ceremonies, to be held at the Kovalchick Complex, will be broadcast live on the IUP YouTube channel.

Giving Tuesday Continues Tradition of Exceeding Goal
IUP employees, alumni, students, and friends continued a generous tradition by shattering the annual Giving Tuesday goal again this year. During the 24-hour effort, the university raised $41,337—more than double the goal—with 204 gifts from 175 donors.
Council of Trustees’ Public Meeting Thursday
President Michael Driscoll invites the university community to attend the public meeting of the IUP Council of Trustees on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in conference rooms 6 and 7 of the Kovalchick Complex.
