Thank you for planning to attend next week’s IAR Legislative Conference. We’ve got some info you need to read before you get on the road.
DO NOT PARK IN THE HOST HOTEL GARAGE. The parking garage that serves the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is under construction. Parking is extremely limited. The dust and fumes are overwhelming at times. The top floor is closed if there’s ice or snow. And the workers act as though they are cats with 9 lives. In other words, it’s dangerous.
DO NOT COUNT ON VALET PARKING AT THE HOTEL. The garage conditions described above impact valet parking. Valet is usually full by 8 o’clock. And when you factor in the road construction all along Capitol Avenue, we need you to leave earlier than normal for downtown Indy. There’ll be no zooming into valet and running to the meeting.
THERE’S LOTS OF PARKING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. Here’s the good news. There’s lots of parking around the hotel. Downtown Indy, Inc. offers a parking search that you can sort by overnight parking, accepts credit card, electric car charging, etc.
