FAFSA & CSS Profile: The deadline to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS Profile is April 20, 2026. The CSS Profile is used to determine eligibility for Haverford Grant funds. The FAFSA is required for all federal grants and loans, including the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG), and the Federal Direct Stafford Loan Program. Pre-registration: Students will participate in pre-registration for the Fall 2026 semester, which begins Monday, April 6, and runs through Friday, April 17. Since 1858, Haverford has awarded honorary degrees to those who reflect its values. This year's honorees, celebrated playwright Ken Ludwig '72 and climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe, will be recognized at Commencement on May 16, 2026.

| Haverford placed 64 student-athletes on the 2026 Centennial Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll, 13 of whom were also named to the Academic All-Centennial Team, recognizing those who earned both all-conference and Academic Honor Roll distinction.

| A NSF grant is supporting Professor Alex Norquist’s work at the intersection of sustainability, AI, and materials discovery, funding a postdoctoral researcher and six undergraduate students.

Featured Story : Spring Plenary
|
The bi-annual Plenary, where students gather to raise, discuss, and debate campus affairs, is scheduled for this Sunday, March 29. A successful Plenary consists of members reaching a quorum, defined as at least ⅔ of the student body being in attendance and gaining consent.
This past fall, more than 1,000 Fords gathered at Fall Plenary and adopted the most comprehensive revision of the Honor Code in decades. This work was guided by Students' Council Co-Presidents Sarah Weill-Jones '26 and Ben Fligelman '26, along with Committee for Student Community, Agency, and Responsibility (CSCAR) co-heads Sofie Quirk '28 and Ben Perez-Flesler '27.
This upcoming Plenary will continue this tradition, offering students the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and collective decision-making on resolutions that shape the Haverford community.

So far this year, 23% of all current parents have made a gift, surpassing the 2024-25 parent participation rate, and bringing us closer to our goal of 25% participation.
