The warmer weather is in full bloom and so is our calendar. As flowers pop, so do press releases, launch dates and strategy sessions (we wouldn’t have it any other way!). This season is notoriously busy in the marketing and PR world and lucky for us, we thrive in the hustle. Whether we’re helping long-time clients refresh their websites or creating memorable events for our newest partners, we’re all in. Bring us your big goals and we will bring the bold ideas that will make an impact.

| Marsy's Law for Georgia: Purple Lights, Big Impact
This year’s National Crime Victims’ Rights Week was one of our busiest and most impactful yet! c21 coordinated purple light displays across Georgia landmarks (including the iconic King & Queen buildings), awarded a Champion Award to U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock and planned and executed an award presentation at Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles’ office to therapy dog Asher (a true chamPAWion, if you will.) We wrapped up months of work with the unveiling of a powerful new art mural at RedBud Blossom FamilyJustice Center in Cobb County, in collaboration with our old friends at Paint Love. By the end of the week, we had secured millions of media impressions, keeping Marsy’s Law for Georgia front and center.

Metro South CID: Digging Into the Past (and the Headlines)
Metro South CID brought out the sunshine with a clean-up event at Thomasville Cemetery! This event started a yearlong maintenance program to restore the cemetery, which was virtually abandoned more than 10 years ago and houses over 425 graves, many unmarked. We heard from Super District 6 Commissioner Ted Terry and District 3 Commissioner Nicole Massiah on how this project will positively impact the district. We even saw a mini-family reunion between some of the volunteers who had never met before! We secured stories on 11Alive, FOX 5 and WSB-TV2 as well as print and digital publications that reached with more than 370,000 people.

| Gateway85: Where Tech Took Center Stage
When innovation takes the spotlight, c21 makes sure the stage is set. We recently partnered with our client Gateway85 CID to bring the Launch Pad Tech Collaboration Event to life—a powerhouse gathering of tech and innovation leaders from Flock Safety, Georgia Tech, DroneUA and more. The conversations were bold, the ideas cutting-edge, the robots and drones were impressive and the international collaboration (especially between the U.S. and Ukraine) was front and center.
But we didn’t just help to plan the event—we made it pop. c21 also spearheaded media outreach that earned 35 media mentions, reaching over 4.9 million readers and 81,000+ TV viewers through outlets like WABE and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

True North 400: Trails, Toasts and a Windy Kickoff
In March, we helped True North 400 embark on an even more connected North Fulton with a groundbreaking event for the Encore Greenway Park and Gateway. This project, in partnership with the City of Alpharetta, will create a monument gateway at North Point Parkway and Encore Parkway and will link the Alpha Loop trail to the Big Creek Greenway.
The breakfast groundbreaking we coordinated, featured speeches from Alpharetta Mayor Jim Gilvin and True North 400 board members Al Nash and Nick Nicolosi, and it was a successful kick off to this exciting project – even if it was a surprisingly windy day. Watch a recap video on True North 400’s Instagram (and be sure to follow along too)!

| Lilburn CID: Full Steam Ahead on Railroad Avenue
Our latest event was one for the books! This month, c21 worked with the City of Lilburn, Lilburn CID and RangeWater Real Estate to break ground on the exciting new mixed-use development coming to Railroad Avenue in Lilburn, Georgia – an area that was ripe for redevelopment. The name was revealed yesterday - The Porchline, incorporating Lilburn's history and rail line.
Behind the scenes, we handled the planning hustle: Coordinating between partners, crafting a seamless run of show and making sure the big day went off without a hitch. From event layout to invitations to collateral, c21 brought the creative flair — making sure every event ingredient was perfect. We showcased our all-in approach where strategy meets style and no detail is left behind.

Enjoy an Evening of Theater
at Our Office |
Tickets are still available for the May 23 Out of Hand Theater How to Make a Home performance, part of the theater’s Shows in Homes program in partnership with Mayor Andre Dickens' Office and Partners for Home. The one-act play delves into the subject of housing insecurity in Atlanta and is marvelously performed by Markell Williams in all 12 roles in what the AJC calls a “lightning bolt of a performance.”
This Friday evening performance is happening in the lobby of our office building, The Blue Horse in Inman Park! Enjoy a reception of light snacks and beverages before and after the show. Tickets are available here. See you soon!

It’s True – We’re a 'Wheel Big Deal'
We got our hands dirty at Atlanta Clay Works and tried out wheel throwing as a team. What a fun – and challenging – experience! From a lump of clay to bowls, plates and oddly-shaped trivets, we’re looking forward to seeing the finished products soon.
Let’s Knock This Pitch Out of the Park
Our Q2 Lunch and Learn with deputy editor Rachel Garbus of Atlanta Magazine helped us get into the mind of a magazine editor so we can craft the perfect pitch. Her inside insight was invaluable, and we’ll use her tips to help write even more compelling media pitches for our clients.
Appreciating History at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre
Last week, we dove into local history with a tour of Atlanta’s historic Fox Theatre – not far from our office in Inman Park. Our knowledgeable, Atlanta native tour guide took us into areas most theatregoers don’t get to see every day. We enjoyed taking a moment to learn about and appreciate the 1929 theatre’s ornate décor and Egyptian theme ballroom. It’s an Atlanta icon for a reason!

In true c21 fashion, we celebrated Devin with a welcome lunch at Pure Taqueria in Inman Park, enjoying some authentic Mexican cuisine (it was so good) while getting to know more about Devin.

We’re sending big birthday love to some of our favorite c21 stars!
Queen Sharon kicked off the season with a March 21 celebration, Emma kept the party going on April 18 and Shayla’s up next on May 22 (yes, we’re celebrating early — and probably again on the actual day).
Another trip around the sun looks good on you all!

Work Anniversaries Worth Celebrating |
|
|
March and April brought some major c21 milestones! On April 1, Jamie hit a major DECADE with c21. Ten years, countless wins and an immeasurable impact later, we honestly don’t know how we ever functioned without her (and we never want to find out).
Meghan marked two years with us on March 1 and we’re lucky to have her here. We’d be lost without her strategic smarts and calm energy. Shayla and Carter both hit their one-year marks in April, April 8 and 18, respectively. While it’s only been a short time, their work has already left a big impression. Here’s to many more!
