1956 Hanging Rock Chapel

From the Camp Director:

May has been CRAZY! We are so grateful for the amount of volunteers that we have had in the past couple of weeks to help us finish the chapel.  On Sunday June 3rd, after Celebrate Good Times, we will have a ribbon cutting led by our camp committee and a dedication service led by Dave Sims with the Worship team from Sterling Christian Church. The Board of Directors will also be a part of the dedication service. When we started raising the money to bring value back to the chapel, I honestly had a hard time thinking what this was going to look like! The CHAPEL LOOKS AMAZING! Just a few weeks ago Tom & I sat in the board room to tell the board we did not know how everything was going to get done before June 3rd. Because of our supporting churches and friends of the camp we will have brought value back to this chapel, PRAISE THE LORD! I am so excited to listen as young people sing praises to the Lord and lives are changed in this building!
Tom  will have an opportunity to share on Sunday, but he does want everyone to know how much he appreciates the hours of time people have given.
Thank you is not enough! We have stayed within the budget and have not had to borrow any money to bring value back to this building! PRAISE THE LORD! Come out and join us on Sunday to help us dedicate this building back to the LORD!

Registration
Road Closed on 263
If you will be coming to camp from the North using Highway 28 and turning South on 263, we wanted to let you know that you will need to follow 28 all the way out to Highway 63 and go South to the 263 junction. For those coming from the South, you will see the road closed sign at the junction of 263, but you can get all the way to the camp from this direction. Highway 263 is closed in downtown West Lebanon. Our hope is that the road will be open before Summer camp starts but they are giving a timeline of July 1 as the reopening date.
