| Join us for SMBA Championship Fun!
Come out and cheer for the SMBA Final Game on Thursday, February 9 at 7 p.m. in the Middle School Singleton Campus Gym. As a time-honored tradition, we hope our K-8 Dragons will come and support the teams!
This night of family fun and great basketball begins at 6:15 p.m. with an SMPA-sponsored s'mores roast in the Middle School gym parking lot before the game (weather permitting). Parents, for the safety of our students, parents should accompany their children to roast s'mores.

| Birthday Books
The presentation of Birthday Books to the library is a special tradition at St. Michael's. Each year, students may choose a favorite book from a bookstore, by special order through the library, or from a selection of new books set aside in the library, The second assembly will be held on the Bon Air Campus on Thursday, March 16. The deadline to submit Birthday Books is February 23. If you have questions, please contact Carol Wise.

Magic Dragon Day: T-Shirt Art Contest!
Calling all St M artists! Your dragon artwork could be chosen to appear on the 2017 Magic Dragon Day T-Shirts!
Contest Rules:
1. All entries must be submitted on a piece of white paper (8.5 x 11 inches). and include a picture of a dragon. 2. Please use a black marker or black ink pen (no colors or pencil) so that the design can be copied easily onto a shirt. 3. Write your name and grade in pencil on the back of the drawing. 4. Submit your entry to the office (Bon Air or Singleton) by the end of the school day on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Click here for a printable copy of the contest rules. Questions? Need Spring Break Childcare?
St. M is partnering with Challenge Island to offer an exciting week of ISLAND-inspired camp! A minimum number of registrants is needed to hold the camp. Contact Allyson Steele, Director of Extended Programs, with questions.- When: March 6-10
- Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Where: St. Michael’s Episcopal School (Extended Programs Wing)
- Fee: $75 per day or $350 for full week (sign up for one day or all 5!)

Girl Scout Food Drive for the St M Church Food Pantry
Girl Scout Troop 426 is holding a canned food drive to support the St. Michael's Church Food Pantry. Specifically, the food pantry is in need of the following items:
- Peanut butter
- Tuna or canned chicken
- Pasta
- Canned vegetables/soup
Please contact (804) 517-1000 if you have any questions. Collections boxes will be at the front entrances of the Lower and Middle Schools. Donations are requested by Feb. 10. Thank you for your support!
