2024 National Convention

The time for the 2024 National Convention is near, and we have all of the information you need as you plan to attend this year's meeting July 21-24 in Tampa, Florida.

Pre-Registration is open. Register in advance to save time and money on site. Hotel reservations open Monday, May 13, 10:00 AM EDT. Find all of the convention hotel information here.

The Convention Seminar Schedule has been released, so plan to fill your week with sessions that will encourage and equip you for your ministry.

The Florida FWB Steering Committee has created a 50 Days of Prayer for Convention campaign to start June 1. Join us as we pray over all aspects of the convention leading up to the event.

Join the Worship Team

The Convention Worship Team will lead in worship during services at the National Convention with the help of a Convention Choir, Orchestra, and Praise Team. Visit the links below for more information on being part of a team:

Your Chance to Make an Impact

The Impact program is an opportunity for Free Will Baptists to begin the week of convention by making a positive impression on the host city.

This year's Impact Tampa offers two service project options Saturday, July 20. One project will assemble and distribute hygiene kits to the homeless. The other will work with Faith Tampa to serve at local elementary schools with cleaning and beautification projects. Find more information and register at https://www.fwbmastersmen.org/impacttampa/.

Symposium: Call for Papers

The 2024 Theological Symposium will convene October 7-8 on the campus of Welch College in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Paper proposals or abstracts can be sent to the Symposium Coordinator Cory Thompson at fwbtheology@gmail.com. Submissions should be made no later than June 1. Papers on various topics will be considered, but special preference will be given to papers related to theological anthropology.

Grant Recipients Announced

The Free Will Baptist Foundation board reviewed 64 grant applications totaling $5.3 million. After increasing the 2024 grant amount from $250,000 to $500,000, they have awarded the following grants. Click here for the full list.

North American Ministries hosted some of their newest church planters and several guest teachers in the office and on Zoom this week for Church Planter Boot Camp. Graduation Ceremonies to be Streamed

Welch College plans to livestream both the Baccaluareate and Commencement ceremonies on their YouTube Channel. The Baccalaureate Service will be Thursday night at 7:00 PM CDT, and Commencement Friday morning at 10:00 AM CDT.
