Basketball Regionals, Career Fairs, Mac and Cheese

Root for the IUP men at home in the Atlantic Region basketball tournament; talk to recruiters at two virtual career fairs; judge a crockpot mac-and-cheese competition; and more
Spring Break begins Monday, and classes will resume the following Monday, March 21. If you’ll be in the area, watch the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region men’s basketball tournament at the Kovalchick Complex, or catch a baseball or softball game on the South Campus. Below are several events through Wednesday, March 23.
11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Online. The second day of the Western Pennsylvania Career Services Association (WestPACS) job, internship, and graduate school fair will be virtual via Handshake. Registration is open until the fair’s end.
5:00 p.m., Kovalchick Complex. The men’s basketball team will face Fayetteville State in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region men’s basketball tournament. Get ticket information.
6:00 p.m., HUB Ohio Room. This Six O’Clock Series program will give information about Pennsylvania’s upcoming primary election, including resources to research the candidates. IUP political groups will attend.
3:00–5:00 p.m., HUB Susquehanna Room. This crockpot cook-off is part of the Student Association of Nutrition and Dietetics’ celebration of Nutrition Month. See how to enter your dish or how to taste and vote.
Noon–5:00 p.m., Online. This year’s Pittsburgh Education Recruitment Consortium (PERC) Job Fair will be virtual via Handshake. Employers recruit in all pre-K–12 disciplines and related professions. Register on the PERC website.
