The Department of Education has started collecting on defaulted student loans again after a five-year pause. There are over 5 million people now scrambling to find solutions, and we are here to help!

Our housing counselors look at a client's full financial picture, including their student loans, and work with them to build a smart, realistic budget. We help them prioritize what matters most like their living expenses while finding ways to manage their debt.

Our one-on-one housing counseling is provided at no cost. Individuals do not have to be a Habitat homeowner to participate. 

Our team was proud to participate in Rosen Hotels & Resorts High School Development Day. Our Habitat U team, in partnership with City National Bank of Florida, educated attendees on topics including how to balance a budget, the importance of credit, and many important financial skills to better prepare for their futures.

On May 20, 2025, Habitat Orlando & Osceola will turn 39. On the eve of a new decade, we’re celebrating the nearly 1,000 homes we’ve built, rehabbed, or repaired throughout Central Florida. Thank you for being a part of our legacy! 

Earlier this month, Habitat homeowners and members of our staff had the amazing opportunity to see Disney’s "The Lion King" at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. A huge thank you to the Dr. Phillips Center, and their donors and sponsors, for making this evening possible!

We want to send a special shoutout to the corporate groups who donated their time, talent and treasure on our build sites last month.

Teams from Paverscape, Publix District 16, Enterprise Mobility, Ravago, Mobile Mini and State Farm nailed it on the build site in April. Thank you for your commitment to our mission!

We are thrilled to spotlight Publix Super Markets Charities for their incredible, long-standing support.
