Celebrating the UC San Diego International Summer Research Program
UC San Diego's International Summer Research Program (ISRP) is in full swing for Summer 2025! Founding in 2012, ISRP invites top students from our international partner universities to campus for 9 weeks of full-time research in a lab of one of UC San Diego's preeminent faculty. ISRP 2025 was our largest cohort thus far, with 23 undergraduate and graduate students from UC San Diego and Association of Pacific Rim University partner universities in Australia, China and Hong Kong, Japan, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam! ISRP is an excellent way to facilitate student mobility between partners and recruit top international students for graduate students. Additionally, hosting an ISRP student is a great way for graduate students and postdocs in UC San Diego labs to gain mentorship and supervision experience.
We are always looking for faculty to host ISRP students each summer! If you are interested in hosting an ISRP student in Summer 2026, please email the ISRP coordination team at isrp@ucsd.edu.
