In this presentation, Professor Yi will discuss the current state and trend of China’s distribution and logistics industry. She will also share her view on the macro economic environment in China.
Dr. Shaohua Yi is a Professor of Industrial Economics, Director of Distribution & Logistics Department at the Institute of Finance & Trade Economics (now National Academy of Economic Strategy) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Graduate School of CASS in 2002. Her research interests focus on issues in the distribution and logistics industry, particularly topics related to distributive trades and consumer behaviors. Dr. Yi has published three monographs and numerous articles at leading journals in economics and distribution, including the Journal of Finance and Trade Economics, Journal of Economic Management. Academy-level Outstanding Articles, and the Institute-level Outstanding Researcher.
