Sophos Antivirus License Expires November 1
Dear Campus Sophos Antivirus User,
The UC San Diego license for Sophos Antivirus, the current enterprise anti-virus solution, will expire November 1, 2021. For continued protection against viruses and malware, you must install FireEye HX on your university-owned computers.
Anti-virus software is required for the security of all devices and users on the UC San Diego network to scan, detect and remove viruses.
When the campus Sophos Antivirus license expires in November, computers that have not had FireEye HX installed will no longer be protected from computer viruses. It is important to be sure your university-owned computers are running FireEye HX for continuous protection.
