After your staff sign your child abuse prevention code of conduct, it needs to be continually reinforced. This will help hold your staff accountable, build a strong culture of safety, and make sure everyone is clear on their expectations at all times. As you plan for the end of summer, it is critical that you set aside time to debrief and gather feedback from your lifeguards. Debriefing allows you to recognize accomplishments, identify areas of improvement, and reflect on your departmental goals for the year ahead. We have compiled a list of sample questions that you can use to debrief with your team.
