With summer in full swing, we wanted to send a note of appreciation for your hard work to ensure that the reopening of pools is as safe as possible. These efforts are particularly impressive given the tight labor market and shortage of guards that you've all experienced.
So first, we wanted to say thank you. As you know, however, we also cannot let our guard down.
Just one lapse in vigilance is all it can take for a tragedy to occur. As the summer progresses, we run the risk of complacency and lapses in concentration among guards. That's why it's important to focus on keeping guards motivated and energized throughout the summer.
