Housing Requirement at Walsh University |
There is much data to support that students who live on campus, perform better academically, develop a sense of community, more easily access campus resources, participate more and are more satisfied, foster stronger relationships and personal networks, and are more likely to graduate on time. As part of our commitment to student success, Walsh University requires that all full-time, undergraduate students live on campus for sixteen academic terms, unless permission to live off campus has been granted by the Housing Review Board. | Read More (PDF)

Rugby Joins New Atlantic Coast Rugby Conference |
Walsh University’s Men’s Rugby team is set to compete in the newly formed Atlantic Coast Rugby Conference (ACRC), launching in Fall 2025. This highly competitive Division I conference brings together powerhouse programs, including Kutztown, St. Bonaventure, Queens, Wheeling, and Walsh. Belmont Abbey is also expected to join. Most of Walsh’s players and coaches were part of Notre Dame College’s 2023 national championship team, adding strength to the program. The ACRC, aligned with National Collegiate Rugby, will provide elite-level competition and automatic bids to the 2025 national playoffs. Cybersecurity Summit – Complimentary Registration for Walsh Community |
Walsh University, in partnership with Pelican3, invites faculty, staff, and students to the Cybersecurity Summit on Tuesday, March 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Barrette Business and Community Center. This interactive workshop will feature expert discussions on technology job growth in Ohio, AI applications, incident response, computer forensics, and new CMMC regulations. The summit is open to high school and university students exploring cybersecurity careers. Important Announcement from Facilities |
We are excited to announce that the Facilities Department is transitioning to a new computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Within the next two weeks we will no longer utilize SchoolDude for work requests. All operations and maintenance requests will be managed through our new work order system using ASSET ESSENTIALS™ provided by Brightly Software, Inc. This necessary upgrade will transform the process of initiating work requests in a more user-friendly platform; providing greater accessibility for faculty and staff. More information will be disseminated soon that will outline the roll-out timeframe, log-on instructions and changeover procedures.
