A Night to Remember at Cornerstone!
Sunday night at Federation’s Cornerstone, we honored seven incredible leaders in our community — Alma Gildenhorn, Carol & Gary Berman, Sophie & Bradley Buslik, and Rachel & Peter Federowicz — and raised more than $1M for the Cornerstone Fund. The Fund will allow us to expand our commitment to the next generation to help them grow into leaders who embody Jewish values and have the confidence and skills to strengthen our community.
Hearing our honorees share the defining moments that inspired them to lead — whether by building the foundations of our institutions, investing in the next generation, or standing up for our community in times of both celebration and challenge — fills us with hope for the future. We hope the stories of this year’s honorees encourage you to explore how you can make an impact and find deeper connection within our community.
We have lots of photos from Sunday night for you to peruse.

Intergenerational Mission to Panama
“Life-changing” and “inspiring” are just some of the ways participants of our mission to Panama, Central America’s largest Jewish community, are describing their experience. From meeting the Israeli Ambassador to Panama, to touring the Panama Canal, and some of the country’s beautiful synagogues and Jewish landmarks, in just a few short days, the group truly bonded. As one participant shared, “I feel like I’ve gained a new set of parents on this trip. I can call any of them with questions or for guidance in my Jewish journey with no hesitation.” Check out some photos here.
