During a recent visit to the Office of Technology Management (OTM), the Clinical Research Training Center (CRTC) TL1 trainees explored the dynamic landscape of tech transfer and learned how the office is helping WashU innovators transfer their technology from the lab to the global marketplace.

Undergrad Opportunity to Explore Clinical Research |
The Advanced Summer Program for Investigation and Education (ASPIRE) is an 8-week summer program that introduces current college students to medical research. Applications are open NOW through February 20, 2026. Program dates for summer 2026 are June 1 - July 31.

Clinical Investigation Bootcamp is a NEW 8 credit, 1-2 year program that allows students to gain knowledge in the core competencies of clinical research and investigation.

MTPCI Alum Leads Preparations for Groundbreaking Procedure |

Over the summer, experts at the WashU Medicine Heart Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital made history through the first ‘domino’ partial heart transplant in the Midwest. In this team effort, MTPCI alum Lakshmi Gokanapudy Hahn, MD successfully led preparations at the Heart Center to ensure this procedure could be performed.
