 A Place for Us
A Place for Us - FaithAction's Annual Musical Fundraiser!
Want to support the inspiring work of FaithAction and enjoy a one of a kind musical show with some of the Triad's most gifted performers?  Then get your tickets today for A Place for Us, FaithAction's acclaimed musical fundraiser on the evening of Thursday, September 24th!   We are thrilled to announce this year's performers including internationally renowned concert pianist Ang Li, incredible jazz singer Nishah DiMeo, and beloved folk artist Bruce Piephoff - all sharing their musical gifts for a cabaret style evening of folk, jazz, clasical, and theater songs about unity and the immigrant experience.  A Place for Us is proud to be a part of the 17Days Arts Festival, and will take place at the Community Theater of Greensboro (520 S. Elm Street in downtown Greensboro).
The evening will begin with a lovely reception with drinks and hors d'oeuvres at 6:30pm, and the hour -long show will start promptly at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $60 and can be purchased online or at the box office of CTG.  This year we are happy to offer a $100 ticket option that includes a special post-show reception with fine wine and desert for an encore with our featured performers.
Your support will help us serve 4,000 of our newest immigrant neighbors this year with food, housing and health care needs, immigration legal assistance, English and computer classes, employment readiness, and a FaithAction ID card.  Funds will also be used to provide over 50 trainings and presentations about immigration and diversity to schools, social service agencies and faith communities, and connect thousands more in our diverse community through our bi-monthly Stranger to Neighbor events.
As you can see from pictures of our past fundraisers below, this is a night you will not want to miss.  Support FaithAction and enjoy the show by reserving your ticket today!!
Peace,
The FaithAction Team
