Supporting Students Through Midterms & Finals |
As we move into mid-semester and approach midterms and final exam preparation, the Learning, Writing, & Speaking Center (LWSC) is here to partner with you in supporting student success at USF.
|
How LWSC Supports Your Students |
The LWSC provides comprehensive academic support designed to strengthen students’ confidence, skills, and course performance. Our core services include:
|
The Writing Center empowers students to develop stronger writing skills in organization, development, style, and structure. Student and faculty consultants offer one-on-one consultations across disciplines, helping writers generate ideas, revise drafts, and strengthen editing skills—without directly editing student work.

The Speaking Center helps students prepare for speeches and presentations. Trained peer tutors and experienced speakers offer assistance in developing and organizing speech content, researching and outlining main points, crafting effective introductions and conclusions, and improving overall oral communication skills.
