Friend,
With about a month left in the semester, this is a pivotal time for your student as they juggle end-of-the-year projects, approach finals, and prepare to take advantage of summer break. For our seniors, this is also a meaningful time as they prepare to graduate and take their next steps.
They can’t do it without your support! A quick, encouraging text or simple check-in can make a big difference.

Featured Story : Ringing in a New Tradition
|
For years, students have climbed up to Founders' cupola to ring its bell after completing their studies before Commencement. Now, student leaders envisioned a new bell-ringing opportunity at the start of their Haverford journey: after Convocation, first-year students will ring a new bell, at ground level, to mark their arrival as members of the Haverford community.
Installed near Founders Hall, the new brass bell is inscribed with the Code’s pillars of trust, concern, and respect. The idea was envisioned by Students' Council and Honor Council leadership as a way to commemorate the student-led rewriting of the code last fall and give physical form to the values that have long defined the Haverford community.
