DIY Designs to Take Your Planters from Ho-Hum to Holiday-Ready!
An Evergreen Winter Porchscape
Finding some respite from the dark and cold days of December is as easy as jazzing up your potted Encore Azaleas. Sitting porchside, these containers are just waiting to brighten your entry as you bedazzle them with bows, bobbles, and twinkling lights.

We’ve designed three holiday looks using Encore Azalea containers as either the backdrop or the canvas to inspire your own wintry creations. From simple to sassy, these décor ideas are sure to welcome your holiday guests to your own special kind of wonderful.

Wintry Sophistication
Uplevel your Encore containers with birch branches, conifer sprigs and other wintery elements. Often, you don't need to look further than your backyard (or living room!) for an obliging evergreen - clip a few discreet sprigs from the back of your Christmas tree, or take a few cuttings from a nearby pine, arborvitae, or holly.

Elegant Simplicity
A cheery ribbon and a few pops of red are an easy way to add a festive flair to your potted Encore Azalea! Wrap a few simple bands of ribbon around the pot and secure to the back using electrical or painter's tape, or add an ornate bow secured by florist's wire.

The Sass Factor
Add in some fa-la-la-la-fun with over-the-top Christmas décor.  Surround the base of your shrub with plastic ornaments in candy colors, suspend a few lightweight plastic candy canes from the shrub's branches, and weave in a strand of white holiday lights for a look that children of all ages will enjoy!
