Names of interested, capable students, ages 16 and up, will be compiled by the end of February. We ask for your help to identify students at your school who are interested in CNA program, work, and career field.
Next Up: Postsecondary Month
Coming up in March, Southeast Service Cooperative/Career Navigators are hosting a virtual event to promote and explore all things postsecondary with Postsecondary Month and YOUR STUDENTS ARE INVITED!

Postsecondary Month is appropriate for students in middle and high school. The objective is for students to explore the postsecondary options available in our region. Colleges, Military, and Apprenticeships will be highlighted from the 11 county-area, with special attention given to the most widely attended institutions by our students in Southeast Minnesota.

Pre-recorded sessions and activities are designed with the virtual classroom in mind. How you specifically use them for your students is flexible. Educators can use the pre-recorded sessions and activities each day, once a week, as a unit project, in groups, as a whole class or independently. Links to the sessions and activities are included in our Postsecondary Month “Toolkit” on FutureForward™, which will be sent out to all participating educators the last week of February.

Talk to me, your career navigator, to register for this event! The event goes live on Monday, March 1st.  Events and activities run throughout the month of March.  Please pass along this information to educators that would be interested in participating.  Many of our region’s top five colleges and universities are participating and are looking forward to connecting with your students.
