email : Webview : NEW Program: SFMTA’s CONNECT Program for People Experiencing Homelessness

The SFMTA has released a new discount on parking tickets for people experiencing homelessness: The SFMTA CONNECT Program

The SFMTA CONNECT Program is a one-time option to allow people experiencing homelessness to earn credit toward their parking tickets ($17 per hour) by receiving social service assistance from an approved social service provider. Any late fees on received parking tickets will be waived upon enrollment in the SFMTA CONNECT program.

Through the SFMTA CONNECT Program, people experiencing homelessness in San Francisco can receive social service assistance, like attending support groups, from the following approved organizations to earn credit toward their parking tickets:

Central City Hospitality House
Glide Memorial Church
Mission Neighborhood Center-Precita Center
SF Coalition on Homelessness
St. Anthony's Foundation
UCHS Mother Browns

To be eligible for the SFMTA CONNECT Program, people must:

1. Be experiencing homelessness in San Francisco, AND
2. Have contacted one of San Francisco’s Access Points in the last six months

Access Points provide valuable services to people experiencing homelessness. People may call or visit a Coordinated Entry Access Point to confirm eligibility. Their contact information is available here: tinyurl.com/CEAccessPoints

People interested in the SFMTA CONNECT Program must first apply using this application. They can submit or receive a copy of the application at the SFMTA Customer Service Center (11 South Van Ness, open M-F from 8 am-5 pm).
