National 4-H Week October 1-7

National 4-H Week is the first full week in October, during which millions of youth, parents, volunteers, and alumni across the country celebrate everything 4-H. Area 4-H clubs observe National 4-H Week by showcasing the incredible experiences that 4-H offers young people and highlight the remarkable 4-H youth in our community who work each day to make a positive impact on those around them.
The theme of this year’s National 4-H Week is “I love 4-H.” 4-H is an opportunity for all as 4-H encourages kids to take part in hands-on learning experiences in areas such as health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement. Area youth in Fond du Lac County participate in various ways to celebrate throughout the week. Please share what your club is doing to celebrate this week!
Many youth will be celebrating the new year at the Fall Kick-Off on Wednesday, October 4, where they will plan out the 4-H year, collaborate with others, and learn some leadership skills to implement with their clubs.
