Good morning! Twenty Clemson students are traveling to take part in the Bataan Memorial Death March Saturday. The 19th annual Clemson Literary Festival is set for March 25-27; The Presidential Search Committee shares its latest update.

What to know today:

Twenty Clemson students are traveling to White Sands Missile Range near Las Cruces, New Mexico, to take part in the Bataan Memorial Death March on Saturday, March 21. The event pays homage to soldiers who were prisoners of war on the Bataan Peninsula in World War II and forced to march 65 miles through brutal conditions that took the lives of thousands.

The 19th annual Clemson Literary Festival is set for March 25-27. All events are free and open to the public. Students in the Department of English organize the festival under the direction of principal lecturer John Pursley.

The Presidential Search Committee met on Tuesday to discuss the status of the search. The application deadline is April 1. The University's Presidential Search webpage will contain updates on the search throughout the process.

Clemson Players rehearse Twelfth Night on stage.

Dean Nicholas Vazsonyi recaps the latest activities in the College of Arts and Humanities, from the Lectures in Law and Humanities series to the latest production from the Clemson Players in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts.

Idalia “Alejandra” Sierra was recently appointed the new assistant professor of turfgrass agronomy at the Pee Dee Research and Education Center (REC). Sierra's research focuses on nutrient management, water conservation, herbicide evaluations and the performance of warm-season grasses.

A chilled water outage is scheduled tomorrow from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. for part of main campus, resulting in a loss of cooling in multiple buildings. Schilletter Dining Hall, Vickery Hall and several residence halls will be affected.

The Ombuds Office is offering its latest training session on Friday, April 10, from 9-11 a.m. at the University Facilities Center. The session focuses on navigating intergenerational workplaces. Register in Tiger Training.
