Windows 10 will officially reach end of life (EOL) on October 14, 2025. After this date, Windows 10 will no longer be supported by Microsoft, and UT Health Science Center devices running Windows 10 will no longer be allowed on the campus network.
Since Windows 10 EOL is now less than one year away, ITS recommends that you start planning to replace any Windows 10 devices in your areas NOW. We are ready to assist by providing a computer inventory report from our asset management system to help identify devices that are incompatible with Windows 11. We can also assist with building out device recommendations and cost estimates for needed replacements.
To request an ITS computer asset report for your area and/or assistance with the computer replacement process, please submit a service request in TechConnect here.
Please direct any additional questions to Micah Hubbard at mhubba13@uthsc.edu .

Currently, Procurement card charges have not posted to the Dash available expense platform. UTSA and card administration services are diligently working and will provide updates to the Procurement office.
-
Missing locations or incorrect per diem amounts: When entering per diems for a trip, it is advised that you validate the per diems against the Department of Defense or GSA websites. If the system is generating amounts different from those on the government websites, send an email to dtoombs1@uthsc.edu providing the location and the dates of the travel.

DASH PROCUREMENT
-
Marketplace catalogs to include Amazon are up and running and Procurement has been made aware of delivery address concerns. If you have a specific scenario, please forward to kfulle19@uthsc.edu (please check/change your preferences as needed, this address will be used for routing your orders).
- CPAs-Contract purchase agreement and PAs-Purchase agreement forms are required prior to paying an invoice. Please forward questions to purchasing@uthsc.edu.
-
DASH Procurement training resources are located at https://procurement.tennessee.edu/training/.
DASH PAYABLE-ASSETS
-
Be advised that when processing an invoice in Payables, you should pay close attention to the header information. Once your invoice is saved, validated, and initiated, the header information cannot be edited, and you will need to reprocess your invoice. If you have questions, please forward to bpatto11@uthsc.edu.
-
Asset numbers will not need to be created for invoices that include sensitive, minor, or capital equipment. In DASH payables, when lines are entered on invoices, there is a “track as asset” check box. By doing so, you confirm that the line is an asset, and this will route to the controller’s office for asset creation. Be advised that you may receive feedback from System controllers related to details of the equipment.
