REMOTE LEARNING EDITION

Celebrating Our Class of 2020

Over the next four weeks, we are excited to celebrate our amazing eighth graders as they prepare to graduate, honor their accomplishments, and remember the special times they have shared during their years at St. Michael's.
Like the classes before them, our Class of 2020 had many exciting choices for high school and they will matriculate to the area's finest private, specialty center, and public school programs. We couldn't be more proud of them!
It is a tradition at St. Michael's to take a group photograph of our graduating class in t-shirts announcing their high school decisions. Many thanks to our eighth grade parents for helping us make this happen in a new way this year.
Three cheers for our first 12 featured graduates above! We know great things are ahead for you all. Remember... Once a Dragon, ALWAYS a Dragon!
(Stay tuned for more high school decision photos in the weeks ahead.)
Wishing ALL of our Mothers of Dragons in our St M community THE MOST fabulous Mother's Day!

Faculty News

We are pleased to announce that Angie Rowe, lead fourth grade teacher, will be stepping into the position of lead kindergarten teacher for the 2020-2021 school year As a parent of two St M alums and a current Middle Schooler, Angie has taught at St M since 2014.  Her teaching journey through the School has also included first grade assistant, fourth grade reading and word study teacher, and Extended Day.  Prior to St M, Angie’s teaching experiences include kindergarten and first grade in Henrico County and preschool at Bon View School for Early Education.  With certification and licensure in Early Childhood Education and her BA in Psychology from Mary Baldwin, Angie is well-prepared for the special role a first teacher plays in the academic future of a St M child.  We are excited that Angie has agreed to continue her career at St. Michael’s as part of the kindergarten team and feel very assured that the kindergarten program will continue to thrive with Mrs. Rowe in the position.
