STEM Pathways Program Highlights - Tiara Britten

Tiara T. Britten's journey from high school to pursuing biomedical engineering was shaped by the LSU STEM Pathways Program, which introduced her to diverse engineering disciplines and hands-on projects like programming a prosthetic hand with Arduino code. Now a student at LSU, she leverages those skills as part of a playground design team, a teaching assistant, and a student worker at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, while aspiring to one day manage her own medical device company.
