Meet future homeowner Tanisha

Tanisha smiled wide as she entered her newly finished future home for the first time. The mother of four told us she's never put a Christmas tree up in her family’s home because their apartments have always felt temporary. This holiday season will be different. “If it’s all finished, Christmas will be at my house this year,” she said with a big smile. She is scheduled to close on her home, generously sponsored by Orlando Magic, this December.

Closing corner

Huihong, Carelynn, and Teneshia closed on their energy-efficient homes in Silver Pines Pointe recently. Teneshia told us in May that once she becomes a homeowner, she will be able to accomplish her other goals. "The future is so bright because now I know that anything is possible,” she said. Congrats to our newest homeowners!

Wills for Habitat

Thirty-nine of our homeowners and roof repair clients have new wills in place that protect their assets and their loved ones thanks to Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP. Volunteers from the Orlando office volunteered their time on Aug. 26 for the Wills for Habitat clinic. We are so grateful for their service!
