1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

          "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen."  Do you ever feel that way?  We may wonder what is wrong with us and why we seem to be susceptible to some sins.    
          Paul reminds the believers in Corinth that their temptations are not unique to them.  Jesus was tempted in every way also, but he did not sin.  Our God is faithful.  He offers a way out of temptation.  When we see that way, we must take it right away.
Pray with me:  
Our faithful Father, sin would isolate us so that we wallow in self-pity.  Remind us of the power of living in confessing communities. Help us to encourage one another today so that none of us is hardened by sin's deceitfulness.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.
