Download and print copies of our recruitment materials on your own or request them from the BMC2 Coordinating Center.
- Introduce your patients to the opportunity to join the PAC by sharing the materials and encouraging them to contact us if they are interested in joining.
- Recieve one P4P extra credit point when a patient you refer joins the PAC.

Members of the Patient Advisory Council are valuable partners and have contributed to:

|
|
- Developing the
MiCR Cardiac Rehab Best Practices Toolkit
- Creating a risk-prediction tool to facilitate shared decision-making among patients, providers, and caregivers
- Quality discussions with PCI care teams from around Michigan during consortium-wide meetings
- Sharing the patient experience with BMC2 participants through consortium-wide meeting presentations and
Patient Spotlight articles in the BMC2 newsletter
- Improving post-PCI discharge instructions by making them more streamlined and user-friendly
- Creating a document and video to help patients care for themselves at different milestones after a PCI procedure

Patients who participate in the PAC will meet others who have experienced similar health challenges, build their community of support, and potentially improve their quality of life by having an opportunity to create positive change.
|
|
|
