Isaiah 46:3-4
Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob,
    all the remnant of the people of Israel,
you whom I have upheld since your birth,
    and have carried since you were born.
Even to your old age and gray hairs
    I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
    I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

New International Version (NIV)
"Too late have I loved You," lamented Augustine.  Like many of us the early Christian father and leader lamented the time he lost not following Christ.  Do you remember when you found God?  It might have been in church or in your home or at a camp.  There likely was a moment.

When did God find you?  That is an easier question.  God tells his people that he carried them since their birth.  There was never a moment in our lives when God did not yet know us.  From our mother's wombs God has carried us.

Will God ever forget us?  No.  God is in it for the long haul.  He who carried us as children will sustain us into our later years.  The one who made us will carry me.  Today and every day we are sustained by God, our deliverer.

 Pray with me:
Father, we worship you as King, all glorious above, and joyfully sing your power and your love.  Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days, you alone are our Creator, Defender, Redeemer and Friend.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
I want to invite you to join me in memorizing 52 passages this year from the 2017 set of Fighter Verses.  You can find the Fighter Verses App at the App Store on your phones or via this link  http://fighterverses.com/the-verses/fighter-verses/As we study the Bible this year, let's look at each text and learn what it says about God.
Joyfully,
