The NATA Professional Development Committee’s Professional Development Excellence Award honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the athletic training profession in the area of continuing professional development. The deadline to submit nominations is March 17.

Tickets Available for NATA Foundation Event at Convention
Reserve your tickets to the NATA Research & Education Foundation’s “Wide World of Sports” event June 19 in Atlanta. The NATA Foundation will recognize and honor the National Basketball Athletic Trainers' Association, the Professional Football Athletic Trainers' Society, the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers' Society and the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers' Society. Collectively these organizations have provided more than $1 million in scholarship funding through the NATA Foundation. Individual tickets may only be purchased on the convention’s registration website; they will not be sold on location.

Complete ATLAS Survey by June 1
The Athletic Training Locations and Services (ATLAS) Project is a joint initiative of NATA and the Korey Stringer Institute designed to track access to AT services, improve communication between athletic trainers and produce research for the advancement of the profession of athletic training in the secondary school setting. The project has created a real-time database with visualizations that map the level and type of AT services in secondary schools. The success of the ATLAS Project hinges on the annual participation of the secondary school AT (ideally between Aug. 1 and June 1 of each academic year).
