U.S. Secretary of Veteran Affairs (VA) Denis Richard McDonough visited Clemson on Thursday, February 15, as part of a listening tour in Upstate South Carolina. He met in the executive board room of the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers of College Business with student veterans from several schools, including Clemson, Southern Wesleyan University and Anderson University.

Staff members are encouraged to nominate themselves or colleagues by March 1 to fill vacant Staff Senate seats from seven budget centers for the 2024-2027 term. Interested faculty should contact the lead senator in their college or the Faculty Senate office.

Beginning on Monday, February 26, faculty, staff, and students who receive email notifications about a “high confidence” phishing email that has been quarantined will be required to take an extra step if they would like to release that email back into their inboxes.

Summer and Fall 2024 mentor forms are now live on the UPIC website and submissions are due March 1. A limited number of 50 percent matching funds are available this summer, and interested faculty and staff can visit the UPIC website for the application and position description form.
