Dear 4-H Families,
Happy Mother’s Day this Sunday to all the amazing moms and caregivers in our 4-H community! Thank you for the time, encouragement, and support you give to help youth learn, grow, and thrive.
May is here, bringing longer days, warmer weather, and the excitement of all that’s ahead in 4-H. The AmeriCorps members will start in June and will be planning some great summer programs.
It is also time to begin gearing up for the Dodge County Fair! —We Need Your Assistance! Fair week is a big moment for Dodge County 4-H, and we’re still building our volunteer schedule for key areas: the 4-H Promotion Booth, 4-H Fish Pond, 4-H Cream Puff Stand, and WWA (Wisconsin Women for Ag) Food Stand. These shifts keep our 4-H presence strong at the fair and support major fundraising efforts that benefit our county 4-H program.
New this year (youth spotlight!): We’re inviting youth to volunteer at the Promotion Booth to highlight their 4-H project sparks. If you’re proud of a project, skill, leadership experience, or something you’ve built/learned—this is a great way to share your spark with fairgoers and help others see what 4-H is all about. Sharing your story helps others see the impact of 4-H and inspires future members.
Please sign up for a shift (or two!) 👉🏻 here so we can cover all days and times.
Marie
Sincerely,
Marie Witzel
